Why Choose our San Antonio Eye Doctors?

Sixteen Years of Surgical Eye Care on West Avenue

Our Castle Hills office has served north-central San Antonio for 16 years, caring for an average of 7,600 patients and performing roughly 1,280 eye surgeries annually. That volume matters: it means our surgeons see your condition regularly, not occasionally.

Fellow-ship Trained Surgeons with Rare Depth

Dr. Ricardo Sepulveda completed a fellowship in Refractive Surgery and Corneal Diseases at the Cleveland Clinic’s Cole Eye Institute, followed by an additional two-year surgical fellowship in Retinal and Vitreous Diseases, a combination that lets him manage both the front and back of the eye. He has performed more than 10,000 eye procedures over 15+ years and co-authored Adler’s Textbook of Ophthalmology. Dr. Robert P. Green Jr., M.D., M.A., FACS is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons, a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, and a Clinical Assistant Professor at UT Health Science Center San Antonio. He was the first ophthalmologist in San Antonio to use a laser in cataract surgery and has performed approximately 9,000 procedures.

Advanced Lens Technology, Including the Light Adjustable Lens

We offer the Light Adjustable Lens (LAL), the only IOL that can be fine-tuned after surgery using light treatment once your eye has healed, along with multifocal and lifestyle lenses, toric lenses for astigmatism, and traditional monofocal options. LASIK and PRK are performed with an excimer laser delivering customized pulses based on your individual prescription.

Comprehensive Eye Care Under One Roof

Cataract surgery, advanced technology implants, refractive lens exchange, LASIK and PRK, retina care, eyelid surgery, dry eye and allergy treatment, and routine eye exams are all available here, so a retinal finding during a cataract workup doesn’t send you across town.
